What is this? The first abbreviated schematic for the ISHIZENO i8. Or to be more precise, the way the ADP5589 keypad decoder will be wired on our keypad board. Of course, this is not a complete schematic, but if you combine it with this keypad scan block, it’s enough to understand how everything will fit together, at the exception of the RST and INT pins, which I don’t fully grok yet.
And the reason why it does not look like a standard PCB schematic is because it’s designed with nothing more than Google Sheets. Why, are you asking? Because I don’t have any PCB software on my MacBook yet, and I don’t particularly like the ones I’ve tried anyway. So, for the time being, we’ll do all our preliminary design work on spreadsheets, because spreadsheets rock!
