Going with OrCAD

Well, it looks like DipTrace won’t cut it after all. It does not have the schematics for the AD7606, and I have no desire of creating them myself. Also, it does not support the .bxl file format, which seems to be the norm for most component manufacturers. After much research, I’ve decided to follow the advice of my mentor, and to go with OrCAD. For that purpose, I’ve installed VMware Fusion 7 on my iMac, and I am now downloading a copy of Windows 8.1 Pro.

Not the most fun part, but that’s the price to pay I guess…
